Empowering Future Creators with World-Class AV Technology and Industry Insight

Last September 19–21, 2023, Westco AV proudly participated in iAcademy’s highly anticipated SODA Week 2023—an annual celebration of creativity, innovation, and design. Invited as an industry partner, Westco AV brought a hands-on audio visual experience straight to the students, showcasing high-performance solutions from globally renowned brands including K-array, KGEAR, Frog-is, Merging Technologies, and Sonarworks.

Throughout the 3-day event, students had the opportunity to try out professional-grade equipment and explore the cutting-edge technologies that power concerts, theaters, studios, and immersive spaces worldwide. From powerful sound systems to room calibration and acoustic enhancement tools, Westco AV opened a window into the real-world applications of AV technology.

Highlighting the event was a special guest talk from Vincent Jason Peñalosa, Westco AV’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, who took the stage to share a compelling look into the history of the audio visual industry in the Philippines, and the exciting career prospects that await students who pursue this fast-evolving field.
